"Surface Level" Webster Lake Card

This is an A2 card with a print of my painting, "Looking Up", on the front. All cards come with my logo on the back and sealed in a clear plastic sleeve with a matching envelope.

This piece was shown at the 2024 ArtPM exhibition at BUOY Gallery in Kittery, Maine. The show is comprised entirely of pieces made during February of the same year. 

The lake in this image is Webster Lake in Franklin, NH on a sunny August day. I kayaked this lake with my dad around the time of his birthday. I chose to paint one of the photos I took months later, in the cold dark of winter, as a reminder to myself of the joy of a bright summer day. If I can give myself some of that feeling during a time of year that makes it difficult, it's through my art.
