"Sleeping Zebras" Original Pastel Painting

This is a 5"x7" original pastel painting. I was fascinated by the tree shadows falling across these large rocks one sunny day, and months later rediscovered my photo to use as reference. 

I would advise framing this piece under glass to ensure it lives a long and happy life. Pastel is a delicate medium and the surface should not be touched.
