"Rock Hopping" Print, 8x10

This is an 8"x10" print of my pastel painting, Rock Hopping. The top and bottom edges are full bleed and the left and right edges have a thin white strip, due to the difference in proportion between the size of the painting and the size in which I make prints. A custom mat in your 9"x12" or larger frame will solve this discrepancy.

This painting was inspired by one of my mother's photos. The image hangs in our bathroom and reminds me daily of the beauty of the Maine coast. Her title is written on the bottom edge of its black mat, "Cliffs at White Head, Monhegan Island, Maine." Our family visited over ten years ago. 

There is a hidden figure indulging her inner child and explorer in this painting.
