From the series “Human / Nature”

These rocks feel so New England, they really could be anywhere. But many people ask me where it is, so I'll tell you: this is the small cove beach at Cape Elizabeth, Maine- the same park that is home to the most photographed lighthouse in America, Portland Head Light. I believe in finding beauty not just in the prescribed moments where others have defined a photo opp (ie, the one spot everyone takes the same photo of that lighthouse 365 days a year) but all around you. To put it in cliché terms, life is about the journey, not the destination.
