This piece makes a statement- literally- reading, "actually, I'm just like other girls". This is a rebuttal to the common phrase "not like other girls" used by men and women alike as a compliment, while also dragging others down for expressing what are viewed as feminine traits. I don't think there's anything wrong with being like other women, and I created this piece to say so. I even used lots of pink and, in the original painting, glitter. 

I produce my prints right in my home studio in Belmont, NH using a 6-color inkjet printer on matte fine art photography paper. Each is signed by hand on the back and sealed in a clear plastic sleeve with a rigid backing board for the best protection.  Every print includes an informational slip with details about the original and the story of the piece.
