Original New Hampshire-shaped painting on laser-cut wood panel. Measures about 2-1/4"wide, 4" tall, and 3/8" thick.

This painting was partially based on one of many reference images I've taken at my day job in Henniker. I pulled shadows, trees and snow from the ground near the parking lot and filled the background with an imagined clear blue sky. A small crescent moon gave the piece a little bit more magic. 

This is part of my Mini New Hampshire series, where I used ten NH-shaped laser-cut wood pieces to paint whatever I felt in the moment of creation. These paintings run the gamut of my creative interests: colorful, detailed, textured, both close-up and distant landscapes, mostly nature-inspired, some silly and some serious.
