NH Stack 4" Original Painting

Original New Hampshire-shaped painting on laser-cut wood panel. Measures about 2-1/4"wide, 4" tall, and 3/8" thick.

This stack of rocks existed very briefly over 5 years ago. I've painted the image several times and even made one of my early eraser prints based on it... and it's not even mine. One of my first commissioned pieces came with the reference photo and I've been returning to it occasionally ever since. 

This is part of my Mini New Hampshire series, where I used ten NH-shaped laser-cut wood pieces to paint whatever I felt in the moment of creation. These paintings run the gamut of my creative interests: colorful, detailed, textured, both close-up and distant landscapes, mostly nature-inspired, some silly and some serious.
