"New Hampshire IV" Original Painting

This is the original painting of my fourth New Hampshire shaped painting.

This is the fourth New Hampshire-shaped painting I’ve created, and probably my favorite yet. It’s an image from my college friends’ Halloween wedding in the White Mountains. To create the original painting, I traced the cover of a New Hampshire atlas and transferred the shape to watercolor paper. Then, I applied 1/4" masking tape around the entire thing, did my painting in gouache, and peeled the tape away at the end.
