“Mixed Bouquet” Original Acrylic Painting

This is an original acrylic painting on an 8” round canvas.

This painting was an experiment for me in many ways. I don’t use much acrylic, so this served as practice. I don’t paint many flowers either. I tried using a brightly toned ground and making it less intense in subsequent layers. Overall, I am happy with the results and my progress in what I hoped to learn. I hope this painting brings you some summer joy!
