This is a print of my original pastel painting, "Looking Back: Mt. Rowe." The prints are full bleed and measure 8"x10". All prints are signed on the back by hand and come sealed in a protective plastic sleeve with a rigid backing board and an informational slip.

From the series “Human / Nature”

Mt. Rowe is in the Belknap range near Gilford, New Hampshire. I've hiked the trail twice, but find the view at the top underwhelming. (It stares down into the dirt parking lot of a ski resort.) Walking back down the way we came, I stopped and noticed the trail itself was a view worth the trip. This is that returning view near the top. My "Looking Back" pieces are about turning away from the prescribed subject of beauty and instead finding it on one's own, in more places.
