To keep myself occupied at one of my outdoor art fairs, I found a leaf on the ground and decided to paint it from life. Once satisfied with capturing the essence of its vibrancy and form, I created a mess of grass for the background, also inspired by life but allowing the direction of the blades to flow in a stylized way.
