My own backyard is the inspiration for this piece! My family had a logging company come remove some excess trees on our property. Their heavy machinery shredded our driveway and for some odd reason they never returned after that. So, years later, the wood still remained and had become a part of the landscape. I thought it made a nice image with the fall foliage of the trees left standing.
