For my AP Art portfolio in high school, I created still life setups using fruits surrounded by angled mirrors, creating a kaleidoscope effect and viewing the fruits from many angles at once. During the COVID-19 quarantine period of 2020, I revisited that idea in this painting. I sculpted donuts from clay and paint and arranged them like I used to so that the four in life multiplied many times.
