"Friends" Original Painting

Friends is a gouache painting I made after a friend expressed interest in a little raccoon I painted- until he realized just how little it was! I thought of this scene and worked on it while at my craft fairs and now it's ready for your home. The raccoon and chipmunk are painted from references, but the background is special in that I used my memory and impressions of fall light to invent it. What a challenge! 

This is an 8.5"x10.25" gouache painting on archival matboard. I suggest framing it using UV-safe glass with a mat or spacer, and I can help you out with that if you're local!
