Chicken Tree Ornament

Merry Chickmas! These are wooden ornaments with a different hand-carved block print on each side. I started by staining the wooden disc with acrylic paint, varnishing both sides to prevent bleeding into the woodgrain, then carving and printing both chicken designs. Then I used cold wax to seal the designs onto the ornament, drilled 16 holes in each one, and strung gold ribbon through the holes to make the border and hanging piece.
